Outstanding Library Books Books that were not returned to campus will remain on student accounts. Students and parents are financially responsible for the replacement of lost or damaged library books. Patrons with lost, damaged and overdue books may not check out other books until books have been returned, replaced or fines have been paid. There are no fines for overdue books. However, if the books have been lost or damaged, we ask the books to be replaced or make a payment to cover the cost of replacement. This will allow your child to resume full check out privileges throughout the Oakdale Joint Unified School District school libraries. If you are replacing the book or would like to pay for a replacement, contact the librarian at the Fair Oaks Elementary School. Payments may be made at the library or the front office during school hours. Thank you.
